Got the vet's bill for last week, Not to bad considering they did the following

18 ultra sounded/pg tested

28 got vitamin shots

5 bangs vaccinated

and Linus's marble's removed.

Vet and a vet tech helping her.

total was $606.59

They charged me $240 and hour for "herd work" than the cost of the vitamins, and the tetnus and penicillan for Linus. Plus a $55.00 basic farm call. NO mileage fee as they had a job 2 miles east of me first.

I suspect it was that hen's bane that I can't seem to totally kill off. She was fine last tuesday.

Her buddy was hanging around the body yesterday and feeling sorry for herself. I think it was either Thelma or Louise not sure which, ear tag #9 so I have to hunt in my records to see who that was.
