Granny's gone and done it again

I'm back up and I guess it is my turn to feel like crap. Hurt in general and right elbow is shot. Don't think there will be an tilling today. Got to check on the young silkies in there new outdoor coop and the take Ma to PT. While she is there I'll get some feed and go pay the shop for the John Deere repair on the mower deck. Happy Camper with all they did for what it cost me. Any hoots I'll be around and about more inside today than I had planned on. More cold weather is coming that the guessers got wrong earlier.

Ok so he had a driver bring it in. There’s a bunch of containers in the back yard area (I don’t usually go out there - that’s the domain of the yard!)

There’s a container the yard foreman uses for his paperwork etc stuff which is generally where stuff gets thrown if the drivers fear the office.

Nope. He tossed it in a random container. Soops did eventually find it. But gah! Guys!

It's just not been a good day today. Didn't get much more done than to bury a pet rooster late this afternoon after chores of feeding and watering. As I was coming back from the burial my big boy Legs met me at the porch gate area on top of the smoker grill. I walked up to him and had to lookup as his head was nearly a foot above mine. That rascal has gotten big. He's also heavy. He let me pick him up without a fuss so I brought him inside to sit in my lap while he got a special treat. I guess this means his sidekick and room mate on roost will get to come in tomorrow night for a special treat. Need to get a good picture of him anyway.

I'm sorry your old rooster died, Larry. Even though we see it coming, we still feel the loss. I'm also sorry you're not feeling up to par. You work so hard! Perhaps a day of rest will do you good.

Star, you've got to ride herd on those workers. They may be the best in the world at what they do, but paperwork ... that's not always in their skill set. I used to work with a bunch of compressor mechanics (oilfield). There were times I hsd to put the fear of the Wrath of Khan on those boys.

Granny, 7 MILLION views? Wowzers! We are pretty entertaining! Lurker's Paradise, that's us, lol!

All my Cornish are done now. I probably won't do this again for a year or two. Nine birds won't last long, but ... man these guys are messy! I'll stick with my sweet layers! Anyway, at one day shy of six weeks, only one was over 5 lbs., the other two were both 2 oz. shy of that weight. Whew. I'm glad that's over with!
