Granny's gone and done it again

And WHY? Why are they putting bugs in their products? Why isn't this a big news story?
They maybe processing bugs for people to eat as a new product. Not long ago I was on a meal worm breeders web side and they were promoting the idea then. They are not the only ones promoting eating bugs to save the planet.

What do you carry that many eggs in, Twist? Multiple buckets, pails, etc.?

So glad to hear surgery went well and recovery going well, thanks for the update!

Tattoo them where? Sorry about your friend's birds, what kind were they? Has she replaced them and how is she protecting them now? That really stinks.

What are you talking about? What products specifically? Like in the breading or what? Can you link to a news article or anything?

they are put in egg boxes and then bags at the house on the farm and then hauled to town by me at least once a week.

I wanted a bedtime snack, so I got a piece of bread, spread honey on it, added butter and cheese on top of the butter. Tasty!

you can keep about 3 yaks on the same amout of space/land as a single cow. They do NOT need grain, just pasture and hay. You can harvest/brush their hair/fiber out for spinning, eat them. Can live 25 to 30 years. I have friends with cows still calving at 25 yrs old.

IYAK.org had a lot of great information on them

Thanks you. The website has good info, the price fluctuations are interesting, I just so t know enough about them to distinguish. But, it's not out of line that I expected.

Around the corner from me someone has bison/buffalo.

Maybe next exotic animal auction up the road I'll bid on some yaks if any are available.

Thanks again for the info.
