I used to be able to hear mine when they made that internal pip. Sometimes see them move the egg.

Eggs 20 a dozen easy. Better to sell eggs and buy eggs. Less chance of disease transfer.

I'd rather just deal in eggs and now worry about losing chicks from what ever cause in an incubator. I will let the silkie hens hatch some.
