We have 8 Dark Cornish girls and 3 White Bresse girls and 2 Delaware girls and 1 Ancona girl laying as they please. For meat birds the Dark Cornish out do themselves.

I got 14 eggs today. Three of them are from my Prairie Bluebell Eggers, small but a real pretty blue, FINALLY! The Sapphire Gems have been laying little brown eggs for a couple weeks already.

It got a little chilly during the rain.

Here too. Heat is up. Rain, slush, snow.

Lows here now are in the mid to upper 60's. Any chick 3 weeks or older don't need much heat now. The indoor brooder is full. Half of it has brand new hatchlings and the other half has 2 week olds that are feathering out now. They go outside next weekend. Should they need heat it is out there. Need to play musical coops during the weeks. Really need to build 3-4 new coops this week.

We have those here. A lot of them. I love watching them fly and dive bomb for insects

We had a bluebird house I made, mounted on a post outside in front of my kitchen window. Had tenants every year.

Outside of taking care of chickens and watering the tomatoes I've rested all day with naps. Need to sleep more tonight as we have an hour+ drive in them morning for respiratory testing. Regular checkup and I need it. Just finished a nebulizer treatment.

Are you home? I used to have a few. We all made them from 1x6 but they split after about 2 years.
