It's almost 7pm here and the temp is about normal at 88° now.

Ca. sucks. I dont understand it. The people that live there at least the ones I know are smart people. What am I missing?

I got a little mowing done during chores as I take the John Deere from coop to coop rather than walk over the terrain not fit for human feet some days. At least my feet. This ground it to hard for any more falls on it. I managed to find some 24" high chicken wire under a camellia bush that was not visible and it wrapped like a steel cable around one of the blades. I lifted one side of the deck up while Ma put some cement type solid paver blocks under it. I finally got it all off with some tin snips. That was the second time today I wrapped it up. The 3rd time this week.

Playing Hercules? Those things are heavy! I have done the same thing except with bailing twine. That was hard to cut. No way I could lift the mower. Lucky I was in an area with soft thick grass.

That is cheap by Calif standard. I pay that for a burger with nothing else. This 20 dollar minimum wage is running out some good fast foods. Rubio coastal grill has shut down. They closed 49 locations.

I read a bunch of Red Lobsters were closing here.

I was smart enough to lift it with a long lever. A piece of pipe. Easy.

When fast foods are closed that's a lot of jobs lost. Unemployment doesn't last forever.

Must be some chicken math involved. The higher the wages the more taxes collected?

I remember some years back Intel built a new factory in Germany to produce computer chips. Intel said the reason for not building in CA was that they could build the entire plant in Germany for what CA wanted in permit fees.
