well according to the USPS as of about 11 pm last night the chicks were still in Mo and with the use of magic I got a call about 7:30 am that my chicks were at my local post office. Cackle actually has a warning about the lack of tracking on chicks ON their website.

Cackle never disappoints!!! Ordered 40 lorps they sent 43 (one doa)
and 25 ee's they sent 28. Picks taken less that 15 minutes after having their beaks dipped in water. Let the mass confusion begin. The brooder room was MUCH cleaner before the krackens were released. Room temp was 90* and there are 5 heat lamps if they get chilled.

Got up with the dogs at 7:30, fed them, went back to bed, slept until almost 11! I've been taking long naps too. Tired lately.

well it's "cooled off" to the mid 70's So I am off to get the bldvs mowed at least maybe the back yard as well. Depending on energy.
