Twelve weeks, she is 50% Gypsy Vanner, 25% Arabian and 25% Appaloosa, the Appaloosa is heavy in Quarter Horse genetics. How old is she, Troyer? And what breed? Sturdy looking little gal.
Ah, I see the Arabian in her. Also the QH. Not familiar with GV, but that's probably evident in the stockiness I see. The Arabian gives her refinement. A fine animal.Twelve weeks, she is 50% Gypsy Vanner, 25% Arabian and 25% Appaloosa, the Appaloosa is heavy in Quarter Horse genetics.
The pure Gypsy Vanner can be about any color and their feet need to have abundant hair which the breeders call feather. I on purpose got Gypsy Vanner half breeds so I wouldn't need to mess with the heavy feathering on the feet. In a high humidity situation that heavy feathering causes all kinds of foot problems.Ah, I see the Arabian in her. Also the QH. Yup, muddy feathered hooves not much fun when picking feet or shoeing a bigfoot horse. The pure Gypsy Vanner can be about any color and their feet need to have abundant hair which the breeders call feather.
