they offered Tom the same thing they did to you but he didnt like the possible side effects. He had already had his stroke and only had use of one arm. He said if he couldnt hold his bladder he would need diapers and he wasnt putting that job on me. I tried to assure him I would be happy to help him but wouldnt do it. Then he found out the other possible risk and he wasnt willing to give that up. The dr said it was very slow growing so he wouldnt probably live long enough for it to bother him. So the enlarged prostrate wont allow him to empty his bladder and that causes the uti.

Good news! Replacing the battery in GC's car fixed everything! So happy!

Be careful. I thought the same thing but that battery went dead. It was my alternator.

Tom has just now gone to his room for bed. He normally goes at 4-6pm. He seems very confused today. I made gravy and biscuits and Nancy fried bacon and eggs and he asked me what the gravy was. Just little stuff all day. He asked me how he was going to go poop. I never understood that one unless the wrap on his legs is bothering him. What should he do if he is peeing and needs to poop. Umm sit down? Its terrible those are the ones I remember because it was different subject matter all day. I am hoping this is related to a UTI or leg infection and not worsening dementia..

Me too, we all learning a lot about dementia seems a lot of cases of it going around. I feel sorry for Biden. Can you imagine the pressure he is under.

hi all, Ive been at the er with Tom for a few hrs. His leg is infected. Nancy said it was necrotic. Dr. put him on antibiotics and let us come home.

I'm glad Nancy got him to go. I hope it heals.

Bet I would think they were hot. lol I think onions are hot.

I baked some Vidalia sweet oniions yesterday. Ate with butter and salt so good! Nothing hot about them at all.

The poblano peppers are similar to a more flavorful bell pepper.

But I think bell peppers are hot. They burn my mouth anyway.

We were 104. A son lives South of the state. 118 yesterday..luckier today..only 113.
