Yes, I do all the mechanical work on our fleet of... Uhh, lemme count.... 8?9? 10? Somewhere in there I've been pretty much raised in a garage. My mom has video proof that my first word was "car". I've been (putting it mildly) fussed at by some people I know IRL that it's not a woman's place, it's not natural, not proper or ladylike, etc but I don't care. I love it.

Do you have chickens? All of mine are gone.

Only two roosters at the moment. I'm supposed to get hens from a friend but we both keep forgetting, we're really two good ones

Silly girl, they don't expect you to HOLD it!

Okay, here's what my leg looks like this morning. Looks like somebody went at it with a tire jack, lol! But I have decided it is just a weird allergic reaction to whatever bit me. All the redness is just in the skin though it looks like a big bruise. It has extended down to the poison ivy now.

I think it is not as DARK red as it has been, it's starting to lighten up a bit. And no, I have not yet heard anything re my labs. If I don't hear anything by about noon, I will call them.

Time for chicken chores. Back in a bit!

@BigBlueHen53 The boss is having a problem with BYC that has been fixed but she is having to log out and then back in.

She says you need to see a doc that is a wound care specialist. It looks very much like a spider bite and could get very bad if you don't do something very soon. Don't delay. Personally I'd go the ER of the nearest large hospital that you can drive to now. Once she gets things fixed on her PC I'll let her tell you what she just told me. The last few years she worked she did a lot of wound care of all types while doing home health.
