Granny's gone and done it again

So much rain, mushrooms everywhere!

This is right in my path to the barn!

Thanks, BRGirl... I've been putting honey on it at night and it helps. Don't know if you've seen the history on this, but I have been to Urgent Care twice, been on ABX, steroids and ABX ointment, plus an ABX shot when none of that did any good. But now I'm starting to feel a little ill and am worried about it going systemic if we don't get a handle on it. I've been septic before and don't wanna do that again.
I didn't know that. I would say "Get your tail into the ER, ASAP." But you're
on my way to the ER right now.
So I won't fuss at you. Hope all goes well.
I'll keep y'all posted, I promise. BBL.
You better!

When Ma gets her BYC connectivity issues fixed I want her to tell you a play by play of her first time doing a vacuum seal on a cavity wound.
DH had a vacuum seal when they removed his rectum and fistulas. Had visiting nurses several times a week for a couple months. He was in excruciating pain when they removed the tape and foam at every visit. I mean the word excruciating pain in the worst way possible. And then the machine stopped working twice during the night so they had to come out.

We are hoping to plant and harvest enough pink eye purple hull peas next year to justify a pea sheller. Years ago we had a simple one that would work most of the time but we really need one that is made of stainless steel with a powerful motor that will get the job done in a couple of hours for a days picking. The old one we had would bind up and stop. It was made with plastic and the rollers just couldn't get the job done with any speed at all.

Arthritis sux. The end.

I can't take any of the NSAIDS or any of the prescription meds due to having had a gastric and colon bleed. Only Tylenol and prescription pain medicine. Meanwhile the Osteo marches on. Plus the yet undiagnosed inflammatory arthritis so you have my sympathy and empathy.

Sometimes getting out of bed is a full time job in the mornings.

Howdy all. Summer is back here. In force along with humidity. For awhile I was wondering if the Midwest had forgotten how to throw a good summer. I had a couple of Bandaids on my arms and I actually sweated them off while taking care of the birds this afternoon.

@BigBlueHen53 I'm so glad that you headed for the ER. Frankly, I can't imagine those wounds looking worse. Prayers sent!
