I'm here, Larry! Just takes a bit to get settled. Triage... Paperwork... blood work... IV... etc. Talk to dr. Now waiting while he sees other pt's and looks at my labs and thinks smart thoughts, lol.

I know what it is like. It seems like anymore either I take Ma in or Ma takes me in.... At least I have not fallen since last December. That is a record for me in the last 10 years or so.

Dr here says not cellulitis. Does not blanch when pressed. Still pondering what it is though. Hard to text, oxy sat monitor on rt hand, bp cuff on left arm.

I've taken Celebrex. Stuff is great but with the chronic gastritis....everything that works causes me stomach distress. Same with Naproxen. Doctor gives me relief from the arthritis by giving me shots of steroids along with injectable anti inflammatory drugs but I have to be careful with them due to my stomach and colon problems.

As for prices DH's dermatologist wanted to start him on a new topical med for his skin problems. Since the VA refused to cover it, the price would have come out of our pockets. 837 dollars. Needless to say he told them no thankyou.

Ma filled on earlier this year that was of $1100 for 30 days. Just once. Doc got her some samples but never was it filled again and she is doing great without it.

When we retired a friend told us people retire so they can keep all their doctor's appointments.

Yes, I do all the mechanical work on our fleet of... Uhh, lemme count.... 8?9? 10? Somewhere in there I've been pretty much raised in a garage. My mom has video proof that my first word was "car". I've been (putting it mildly) fussed at by some people I know IRL that it's not a woman's place, it's not natural, not proper or ladylike, etc but I don't care. I love it.
