Granny's gone and done it again

Morning all, up since 5am. I am so tired already but the show must go on right? Im waiting so I can call some meds in for Robert and myself and then to get Tom the meds the hospital doesnt have. They dont open til 9. I dont know how I am going to get around in the hospital. I wont have anyone to push me in the wheelchair. I will muddle thru somehow though.
I hope everyone has a good day and is feeling better.
Surely someone at the hospital will help you. Mention it at the check in. It feels best to be independent but once you get to the place where you have to accept help, it is sometimes a real tear-jerker as the goodness in people shine through.
Such I have found since the path with DH sometimes feels impossible. Sometimes the people I least expect to give a lending hand are the ones who step forth. ❤️ ❤️

Morning all! Busy Busy Busy past two days. I did a much needed run to town yesterday. Hit three places in town looking for clear seal outdoor spray paint. Hardware store didn't have it weirdly enough but DG did. This poor town doesn't have a grocery store any longer so DG has incorporated veggies, fruit and meat into their inventory. I stood there looking at the meet and wondering if I was brave enough to try any of it. Settled on a pound of ground turkey and decided I wasn't brave enough to venture further.

Then hit two Amish stores looking for fence insulators for the coop hot wire system. Finally caught the big sow raccoon yesterday. I was PO'ed. She somehow breached my hot wire close to the ground, tore up netting and tore down a bunch getting into the run. Luckily the coop was buttoned down tight but she tore 'out' in a different place than she tore 'in'. Also tipped over a small garbage dumpster that we have near the barn. It was one of those situations that when I heard the BANG! from DH giving her a dose of 'leadacillin' and sending her to racoon nirvana that I thought 'that's what you get for tearing up my coop netting and eating our apples!'.

Hopefully that is the last of the racoons. There may be another so I set the trap again last night.

So DH pointed out that I needed to run a second hot wire at the top of the run and so I had to get insulators for that. Finally found them at a nearby Amish business and 2 hours after leaving, headed for home. Now to get the hot wire up and working.

It's been hot here. Got a break yesterday when some storms moved through but missed us so I was out securing insulators. Hopefully today will finish that up and be able to get the wire ran and hooked into the charger.

@Granny Hatchet . They should have a volunteer who would be able to push you around in a wheelchair at the hospital. Go to the information desk when you enter the lobby and ask for help. You aren't the only one who needs a push in a wheelchair. They should have help available.
True, Granny, ask for help with the chair.

Well. My refrigerator isn't working. Swapping it out. What a dayvtrying to get things settled. Won't bother you with details. Long story short. Talked to a wonderful manager. She says she will ask around if anyone knows about these fridges there in the store. May have someone come and take a look. If not she says yes it will take a while to get our fridge swapped out. I'm hoping they will let us keep it until the other gets here. 🙏 If not, then we're out a fridge for a couple of weeks.

Those fridges should be tried and true before sold. That's aggravating.
