Granny's gone and done it again

I buy those once in a rare while. fast fry it to med rare. Iron skillet

Yummy! Lamb is amazing. But I feel bad enough for them that I don't have it much. Like Veal. But the cost! Oy!

The fish eating I will never understand. One time I opened a can of Salmon to prepare some homemade food for my picky cat. The skin was still on, and out from underneath fell these rolly polly bones. They were tumbling in every direction like marbles. But the sound was so rattly, like there was something else inside each one. Between the smell and the sound of those bones, I almost upchucked trying to chase them across the floor. I don't know what the people are made of who can process fish... but it's not the stuff I'm made of. Maybe I was formed from jello...

..According to the 2023 USDA Hardiness Zone Map Madison, Indiana is in Zones 6a (-10°F to -5°F), 6b (-5°F to 0°F), 7a (0°F to 5°F) and 7a (0°F to 5°F
Ummm??
I guess they call that variable zoning.....

Granny I must take a break with my pillow. Very tired even if I didn't do a lot out in the heat today. I walked the coops with Ma and mowed the areas between them to keep ticks away. Not much more.
I wish I could I am so very tired. Sleep well

We are zone 5 so the normal hibiscus do very well here.
We're in Zone 4 and I just got my first one for Mother's Day. It said it liked sun and shade, so it's planted in the backyard where it'll get both. It had orange blooms on it when it was given to me. I can't wait to see it bloom again!

I don't do canned fish except for solid white albacore tuna packed in spring water and then only about 6 times a year. I am a picky fish eater. There is a great variation among the flounders even. Some a delicacy and other not fit for cats.

I only tried lamb once and didn't like it, and I pretty much like everything, including spinach and liver. We raised sheep, among other things, when I was a kid and the taste of the lamb I had reminded me of the smell when our sheep were being sheered. It's not a bad smell, just musky kind of. I just didn't like the meat though.
