Granny's gone and done it again

Did you know that potassium is a natural mineral found in the ground. Yup and did you know that without it in your body your heart will stop beating?
Did you know that often times when I'm feeling extra woozy my potassium is low? :( I've ended up in the ER several times needing "bags of bananas." First found out that I had a problem with this when I was sent home from having shoulder surgery when they came back with lab results showing I was 2 points away from being hospitalized from low potassium. I probably shared that before.
So anyway..eat your bananas and potato's. There are actually a lot of foods rich in potassium. :)

Cool, have fun!

Lots of minerals in our bodies, we were formed from the earth. And the best food for our bodies is grown in the earth: fruits, grains, vegs, nuts, seeds. Not manufactured, comes in a box or wrapped in plastic.
Thanks!!!! And good point!!! Lol

Here's a link to an excellent source of what is in foods that we eat. It's not exact but gives a really good idea where hard to get minerals can be found. The second computer program that I wrote I used this as a means to track what I was consuming. This was back in the days of the Apple IIc before the IBM desktop computer came along.

I bought three new tetras. They were doing OK for a couple of days. All of a sudden one dies. The next day the other two were covered in white, stuff. Now I know what ick looks like. This wasn't it! In the meantime my pleco died after they were in there. Now, I have fish dieing left and right. 😡 I flushed those two tetras when I saw them covered. I have ick treatment coming. I'll treat that way just in case they were covered with it so much that it didn't look like it. My tank was doing so well. I'm particularly sad about my pleco. :(

Larry..nuts too. I've been eating them lately.
I'm still having problems with my head being woozy. Not sure what's up. Guessing it's my Vestibular problem since my labs were good and I don't have a loose crystal. If anyone has had a loose crystal in their ear then you know somewhat if how I'm feeling.
I need to feel well enough to get to a reception fir a grandson this week. Can't make it to the wedding. Too far north of here..in the state. Close to a 3 hr drive. I can't do that anymore. But the reception is just in the next town. Bronwyn and Austin can help me then.
