Granny's gone and done it again

Wisconsin, the union state, is still suffering from an idiot governor we had over a decade ago, but getting better.

I didn't have health insurance through my union though, was through the city back then. Since retiring, it's healthcare.gov. I still don't know if I could just stay on that instead of going on Medicare next year, but I have my doubts.
The insurance was through our city but once they declared bankruptcy they broke the contact they had with the city.. they are still trying to take our retirement. Stockton defaulted big time.

Most time they make you take Medicare first then they supplement that

Pricey. Wish people could get vouchers to send their kids to private schools if they choose.
Yes, but like I said there are ways to get in even if you can't afford full tuition. Nobody is kept out because they can't pay, and the government is kept out of it. The local churches help, the conferences help, and there are often ways the students can earn some of their tuition during summers as I described earlier. Years ago almost all of our schools had work-study programs but child labor laws put paid to those. We had gardens, orchards, greenhouses and other industries the older kids could work in a couple hours a week to help defray their expenses. It was a good way for youth to learn real life skills. We still teach some of those life skills, like shop classes, carpentry, mechanics, cooking, animal husbandry, etc., but the students can't earn any financial credit from them now.

Oh man it's going to be a long day. Five hours or more to the school and five back ... and my left hip is already saying nope. I don't know what's up with this, I've never had trouble with it before, but I can't get comfortable in the car with it. Took two Tylenol already. Wish me luck.
Sciatica? Runs through the hip sometimes. I know mine will hurt through my hip at times if I'm laying in bed on my side for a while.

I've had one Trammadol, one Tylenol 500, a 750 muscle relaxer, and a 600 Gabapentin. I normally like to skip morning and after noon meds but need to rest today and let the rib heal if it will. I see the ortho doc soon about hip replacement or at least a shot in the joints. It's been over a year since the hips were injected with something that did a good job for a year. I'd really be glad to get one of those once a year if it keeps working. It surely worked better than PP type meds. Oh I had a meloxicam too for my hands. I can take one in the morning and if shelling peas at night I can take another one. No more peas to shell for nearly two months then there will be quite a few for a couple of weeks.
Man, I'd be flat on my back with all of that!

They are very ugly.
At first I thought so too, but then I saw some absolutely gorgeous ones. They don't all have such huge red growths on their faces I learned, and some that do still aren't ugly, just a bit weird looking to me.
