Sigh. Hubs went to a truck show near Salem today, so I’ve been home with the monsters. He’s snoozing right now. The housebreaking is….interesting. He did a walking pee down the hallway today. Sigh. Working on some positive associations with the crate. I feed him in there and he got a frozen kong stuffed with wet food earlier

I was helping a doctor as he lanced a pilonidal cyst. Omg, it smells awful! I feel so bad for people who get them.

SD and SIL left early this AM. Tom wouldn't eat again today. He did drink ensure but how far is that gonna go? I didn't bother with a shot for him today. My hair hasn't been brushed in a few days. Tangle city there. Little things are adding up to be big things. The house is very quiet now. Robert is being a trooper. He does what I ask him to as far as helping Tom and I. A different man for sure. I am very proud of him.

Oh man. When I had my rotator cuff surgery, I was so stupid and out of my mind afterward. My DH and MIL kept telling me not to use that arm, but I was drugged and feeling no pain, so I decided I needed to do laundry, so I was hauling baskets around and carrying on like always even with that big old brace on.. sure felt it after the block wore off though! Maybe my DH shoulda snatched that basket from me and told me to sit down and shut up, but he is not forceful like that and I am a very stubborn little witch so ...

I am scared to death that I'm going to have to have that done after injuring my shoulder the first of June. It's better. I was able to use the logging chains today when we were cutting wood but it's stiff and sore tonight. I still can't lift anything over shoulder height and it gives this little 'pop' at times that doesn't feel very good.

Just hoping that when I see the doctor in October that it's settled down enough that I don't have to 'fess up' as to how I managed to hurt myself twice in one summer while riding my dirt bike. Like I've been riding the silly thing for over 10 years without any serious injuries.

@CapricornFarm. I've got a picture of my favorite sunflower blossoms from the seeds you sent last Christmas. Stupid squirrel tried to climb it checking out the flowers for seeds and managed to break off several branches. I picked the flowers and put them in a vase. DH and I have enjoyed them very much this summer. Thank you again for enclosing the seeds in the Christmas card you sent. I'll post the picture tomorrow. I'm still awake but not by much. Night all.

Oh! almost forgot. We used to call them K-pads and yes you can buy them in bulk.

So last night I decided to have a rum and coke . Instead of having it in a glass, I put it in one of my big water drinkers. I was out in the studio, and kept sipping my drink as I worked. Everything was going fine, and l felt a bit drunk. Decided to go back into the house. I was watching TV, and reading on my Kindle. Then suddenly, I was very drunk! And then, I threw up in the garbage can. I threw up so hard, that I peed as I threw up. ( I blame this on the children, since they smashed my bladder and weakened it when I was pregnant. ( Sorry, too much information!) So I ended up going into my bathroom to throw up since there's no carpet. Seemed like I just kept throwing up for hours. So miserable. I have not been that drunk for decades.
The pills I am taking to help lose weight are making me nauseated too. I can't seem to eat supper. Especially meat. I cut back to half of the pills the doctor prescribed, but I am still feeling sick.

Today I went out in the river and collected some rocks! It was a bit hot, but i went over to the other side of the island where it was shady. I was out there about 5 hours! Going up the steep path up from the river tonight was rough. I have a rope along side the path to hang onto going up or down. I collected 2 buckets of rocks. Was too tired to bring the rocks up the hill. Climbing up is bad enough! I was hot and tired. So I will bring the rocks up tomorrow.
