My house eats screws. I keep buying what I think I need, but then can't find them later. This house is actually a black hole for lots of things. We have lots of things "around here, somewhere," but when we can't find what we need we often just give up and buy a new (whatever). Later, the (whatever) shows up, laughing, with all its missing friends in tow, but only when we don't need it any more. This is why we have 8 hammers and 27 screwdrivers. It's a big house.

Doc says I've had one and beat it. No doubt I'll rest some but I still will work 4-5 hours a day. I have help lined up. Put my helper on notice today. He's in for the job. Good man.

I'm going to start digging sweet taters morning. I think 18 plants a day for 3 days will finish the job. The extreme drought has limited the number of potatoes I already know. What we get will be the prefect single serving size. I'm hoping for 70-80 nice sized ones. I don't really have to work hard to get them out of the ground. I can just pull them up like weeds in this sandy soil and they come right out.

I Have a shelf for different length screws. Right screw for the right job. There are more to the box for the shorter ones that I often need. Saves nickels and dimes using those 1 5/8" attaching OSB or Plywood in places. Even 1"x4" boards.

Yes, so true! But as much as we try, usually it's me that has thought I had it right, but didn't. I don't want to show hubby what I did so I hide it. He sees it eventually and says, "Nice caulk job."
