45* this am. Black puppy is missing. Hope a hawk didn't get him. They are small Jack Russell puppies. 6 weeks old
Oh no. Sorry to hear that. Hope he turns up.

LOL no the boy would make up a small basket. Grandma would help me used dixie cups and pipe cleaners and then I would put a couple pieces of candy /cookies or a flower in it. Go to the girls house leave "basket" on the front step and ring the doorbell and then run away/hide to see reaction. The female in question was then supposed to notice the gift look for the "donor" and then try to catch them. IF she caught you kisses were the usual reward/punishment BUT it could just be a hug or a smack up side the head or even a punch.
Well that's kind of cute... and potentially traumatic! We lived rural growing up... boy would have to get a ride out there, get past the gate and the dogs, and then no doorbell. haha! Too bad because I was a very fast runner! Actually never have heard of anyone doing this, maybe a Norske thing? Closest we get out here is doorbell ditch.

Granny, with a night like that, I would have stayed in bed all morning. Except I would have been sleeping on the sofa to get away from the smell.
