Worse lol I fell asleep on the couch

I have a kink in my neck

‍ But I am actually heading to bed now as soon as I catch the dogs. Pouring the rain and it's making me sleepy again lol

DH came home with 40 lbs of crawfish! I don't know how many I peeled, but it was close to a half gallon. Then two ice bags left of them. Washed the bowls and trays, tied up the garbage, now just hoping for the best.

House WAS super clean!

Field trip with bubba tomorrow. To the zoo! I'm excited.

Went to check Flapjack and she's got 7 littles so I guess I didn't kill that one. The third broody looks locked down, so I'm leaving her alone for now. I desperately need to clean that coop out. They've kicked eggs all over and buried them in shavings. I have no idea what's fresh or isn't.

thats awesome ! I couldnt tell you how many eggs I tossed doing that. Too many. and now my counter top is full. a doz. a day and since the ivermectin they are bigger then ever.

Sounds like a big dinner in store . Do you use crab or shrimp boil ?

DH bought them, 99¢ a pound! that's why he got the 40lbs. We ate a good bit. DH said the staff can peel the rest. I'll use the peeled tails for étouffée most likely. Crawfish tails are $13 or so a pound.

I didnt expect them to cost that much. Remember when I was in Ga. a lady would come through fro Fl. and we bought shrimp at $9.00 a lb. that was so many yrs. ago.

Not sure what shrimp is right now. Crawfish in recent years have been $5 a pound cooked. This year we found $2.99 a few times and thought we were kings!

It sounds good. I would try it. Probably taste like shrimp. I love shrimp.
