Well, I never thought I would ever see an Arora in my lifetime. Thought that was only in Alaska, Canada and northern states here. I heard that Utah had them the other night.
I get a phone call from my daughter telling me that it's going on now. I could barely see it with my eyes. She said to put the camera on night mode. Sure enough!

We need to count our blessings as rough as life can be, I always seem to survive. I am grateful

oh no. Not more broken ribs. I am asking my DH to put up more lights when I need to go out.

I did get all the ditches mowed at the farm today.

AND I thought that Old Gold might have been pg even tho the ultrasound in Feb said open.

Well she has a nice Royal calf. So started this calving season with Hailey (also tested open and calved less than the month later and finally Old Gold, bless her.

Strange but all 3 Royal calves this year were out of my Golden Trims and Old Gold was the mother of the other 2 , Nugget and Mein.

Interested to see who's the daddy which the DNA test will show next spring.

You should get a refund on those incorrect tests!

We do. Actually we are due for our flu and Covid shots. Probably get them next week.

Me too. Thought about getting them today but didn't. May tomorrow.

Not enough money in all the world to convince me to take one Covid shot. Right now we have a friend who is fighting his second go round with it. He's been sick for over 2 weeks and has been vaccinated. Now he wishes he had never taken the first shot.

I support 100% peoples' right to take whatever vaccines they feel they need to take. But as I've gotten older I have gotten less willing to do vaccines. About all I'll do is Tetanus and with our lifestyle it's a cheap enough health insurance policy against a wound going sideways on us.

Plus I just do NOT trust the government. And you agreed to not sue the Big pharm if the vacc for covid has "issues" latter on.

We went out tonight and set up the go-pro. Here's what we saw:

We could see the greens with our naked eyes but the time lapse really brought out the reds.

@Cynthia12, those are gorgeous pictures. I saw where we are in an area of high 'voltage' in the soil because of the CMEs happening. There were two more big ones that hit the earth today, thus the reason for the northern lights so far south.

Awesome. Where are you? I still can't believe it showed up this much in Utah. I'll steal some photos of my grandkids. They got some good ones too.

Chicken feet are good when done right, broiler feet are the best.

yes she lost them both last July or Aug and about a week apart. Comet has only lost on so far. Makes it a little tuff on the old girls as they go from their old standing/position in the herd towards the bottom of the pack. Not sure just who is the "boss cow" now although Curly is towards the top since she brought a "posse" over with her.
