hi Lisa, how are you ?   Shadow is the grey and white fat cat that makes everyone itch.  They ALL wanted to be on you. haha

Lol, yes they did. Cats have always wanted to rub on me or be in my lap my whole life. Can't imagine why, I'm not a cat person lol.

That's why! Cats don't like eye contact, and cat people tend to stare at cats. Non-cat people avoid eye contact, because in people that would be rude. But cats find it inviting.

Good deal, I will just have to start staring at them then

Actually the vet wasn't sure as he had never pg'd yaks before. But Granny, 19 and Maiah are the first 3 to go. Star and Comet the last 2 with Enola in the middle.

Just a yearly membership. It's expired by now.



The previous owner did a lot of work at the zoo and loved it very much. He died unexpectedly a few years ago and is believed to have stuck around. They have a nice statue of him now in the festival plaza.

Thats cool, I would like to walk that some day.

Awesome!  They have Black Crowned Cranes, not Grey. 

A lot of zoos belong to a network and if you are a member of one, your membership is valid at the others.  Great if you are traveling. 

Our favorite zoo is in St. Louis. It's free for everyone! And they have penguins. Giraffes, elephants, rhinos, all the big cats, lots of bears. It's an excellent zoo. And free!

It's also free to tour the arch, visit the children's science museum or art museum, and tour the Budweiser brewery. We used to spend a couple days in StL once or twice a year. We slept on the floor in DH's BFFs teensy tiny apartment. Head in the living room, feet in the bedroom, arm in the kitchen.
