60 again today.
Rain and snow tomorrow. Open house tomorrow but rain isn't supposed to come until evening.

Snow all day. Someone got their stuff wrong! According to them, it was supposed to stop this morning at 1-2". We are well past that and still going strong!
I ended up calling the dentist to get her diagnosis. DH doesn't know if the tooth that needs a root canal has a cavity or is just broken. Can't get in the endodontist till March. DDS office says she didn't put in her notes what is wrong with the tooth so waiting till they return my call. Rheumatologist will work with us when we decide whether the tooth actually needs a root canal or needs to be pulled out what are we doing??? Insurance will cover either. I did find out DDS had my name and I was allowed to talk. Must be a new DDS at the office.

Waiting for the ostomy Dr to call me with an appointment since he has an infection.

Meanwhile I will continue listing things online and see if I can get $$ since it's no use shoveling yet

Our driveway is pretty large and covered. No mud to the back door. Thank goodness.

We have so many different dentists around here. They're all pretty good and..nice from what I hear. So much competition they try hard to keep their patients.
Still can't believe some of the things you've told us about this place..I mean I believe, but hard to imagine. Didn't put in notes? Our dentist office has computers that allow the front gals that answer phones to see. I've called about a tooth in question before and they look it up for me.
As I said before, my kids have come in with me before. Not Austin, he DOES NOT like the dentist office. Since he was a kid.
Flyers coming today. Wonder if the sign will.
The place we want buy sounds willing to wait until we sell. Will see. I'm a bit concerned about the water having been shut off. We've been below freezing.
I have dealt with that before moving in to a place where the water wasn't on in February! A nightmare! Busted pipes.

Ashton is sick, again.
Coughing. Heard whooping cough is going around, not only our state but spreading nationally.
Watching and listening to how the cough is going.

Good something all.

Didn't get done until about 10 last night and then had to clean the kitchen and do a few dishes. 38 dozen Molasses cookies done. In between putting in and pulling out the cookies I started washing the cupboard doors and fronts. OMG they needed it.

Have 6 batches of Norwegian Cookies chilling/getting firm enough to scoop into balls roll in white sugar then press with the bottom of a cut glass, glass for an impression, sprinkling with colored sugar and then into the oven.

Recipe uses powered sugar instead of granulated and just vanilla for very delicate in flavor and in handling.

Also have a load of clothes in the washer and one in the dryer.

Ran out of crisco yesterday and can is now over $12.00

I have tried both butter and home rendered lard BUT just not the same with the molasse's cookies. OH and had to send the first triple batch of dough out to the hens as I miss read the amount of salt needed and tripled the amount needed twice, so instead of needing 3/4 of a teaspoon TOTAL I used 2 1/4 teaspoons. SMH many times.

ONe time I forgot the baking soda years ago and made hockey pucks, Baked them any way and used as dog treats.

Drain guy's should be here monday to figure out what happen to the sewer line/drain that services rooms 14,15 and 16. Have NOT been able to rent them out for month's. Buyer will be at the farm tomorrow to pick out the calves that she wants. GOING to really PUSH and see if I can convince her to take Shoe as well.
