Granny's gone and done it again

Had a bunch of old eggs so I hard boiled them all and made a huge batch of egg salad with half of them LOL the other half are still in the fridge. I’ll probably make egg salad with them too but I didn’t want to make too much at once plus I was sick of peeling 🤣😭🙈
Oh sorry you did say these were old eggs. Well they should have peeled easy peasy then. Hmm. 🤔

No problem for me. I cant stand boiled eggs. lol
Howdys again. I keep falling asleep! I did however use the yolks out of some boiled eggs like I was making deviled eggs then added some mashed avocado to the mix and it was really good as a dip.
Tom got back up at 7:30. Snoring in his chair now.

lol. I'm glad you got some rest:hugs. That sounds delicious:drool

I mixed up a home remedy for Rojo's bumblefoot the other day, about a week ago. It seems to be working pretty well, better than anything else I have tried so far. I started out using Neosporin then switched to Mupiricin for about three weeks, no progress. I used Prid for about a week and a half, I don't like that at all. It's really stiff and hard to use. I make a lotion/hand cream for myself out of mostly cocoa butter that I soften with something called Albolene. It's softer than petroleum jelly and liquefies on contact with skin. It comes in a tub. Actors use it for removing stage makeup, it's much gentler than say Nutrogena. Anyway I took some of this ointment and mixed in some activated charcoal, which is very "drawing" and will pull out infection better than anything. I've been putting this on his foor every other day for about a week and tonight was able to peel away some of the bumble scab for the first time. He was a little tender so I didn't take much, and it was kind of raw underneath but didn't actively bleed. I packed it with this salve again and wrapped it like I've been doing and we'll see how it looks in two days. I didn't think to take a picture.

Oh wow, Granny that sounds delicious! I don't have any avocado but I have to go to town tomorrow so I will get one.

I start with my eggs at room temp and drop them into boiling water. Cover the pot, turn off the heat, let stand 11 minutes. Remove lid, drop eggs into ice bath until cooled, then refrigerate. DH eats one every morning for breakfast, I'll eat one occasionally in a salad. We peel when we're ready to eat. If you cook them like this the yolk will not get a hard green sulfur-smelling coating on the outside but will be yellow and tender throughout.

Blue, I cant remember if I used this or just an avocado I mashed myself. I'm gonna guess a fresh one as I don't like the spice but maybe you do?
