Good morning Granny Land. Rough night but the sun is shining and it will soon be warmed into the 40's.

It's made it up to 41° so I need to gear up and check on the coops. It's not going to get real warm today so I'll be inside most of the day again. Ma's asleep in her chair which is totally out of character for her. Signs of the Times.

It's 22° here now, our expected high is 35°F. We need a new electric water bucket for the chickens, one of the three we have has stopped working. DH has a dr appt in town today so he is going to pick up a new one. My job is to sit by the fire and keep it from going out, lol.

I opened up the pet coop and the hen started out and I picked her up with a hug and set her back down on the ramp. She took about two steps and decided she wasn't ready to get outside in the cold wind. Our feels like is still down in the mid 30's with the wind blowing like it is. It's blowing up a frigid temp for tonight down in the 20's. Whoever left the barn door open up north please be kind and close it.

I found the Libby's canned sausage gravy Sunday. Biskits and gravy in my very near future. ITS REALLY REALLY good , I just thin it a little with milk. I paid less in a buck and a half per can
