Did they call to tell you this? They might need to restrain him, maybe they should sedate him.

I called them. I asked them to give him something. They had already put a call into the Dr. for something. I feel sick. He needs me and here I sit. I feel very selfish right now

It is not selfish to take care of yourself. Remember when you are on an airplane traveling with a small child and the plane decompresses, and oxygen masks drop down from above? What must you do? You have to put your oxygen mask on first, or you and the child will both die. It is not selfish to take of yourself first. You love Tom, so you MUST take care of yourself!

But I don't think it would have killed me to go there today and it obviously would have meant the world to him.With his hearing aids not working he is bound to be very confused.

You can’t go in the hospital with Covid. You will infect everyone. I don’t believe mask will help. Just stay home and get well enough to take care of him when he is released. It is all you can do at this point. You are not super human.
