We might even get some run off. So far most of it has soaked right in, but I hope the creeks will flow eventually!

Mornings, woke at 5 again. Camping, take that spell off !
Either my house is haunted or my son is an a-hole. He likes to play tricks . I turn the ceiling fan off when I go to bed, its on when I get up. Then he fusses for wasting electric. Not every night but often. I accused him and he insists its not. After a few months of this I am convinced the cat is doing it. So now, I moved the chair that was there and put the bator. No way the cat can but here it is yet again swirling away. I know I turned it off. Fact ! yesterday CB says, Nana, did you do this to the dog bowls ? Do what ? I have 2 water and 3 food dishes. All 3 food dishes were lined up in a row and perfectly spaced from each other right in the middle of the floor . Still in the kitchen where they belong but that was done with a human hand not dog or cat.

Okay, long shot but, would anyone like (or knows someone who would like) a leghorn rooster. He is from the two I hatched, He has the Isabella gene.

He's beautiful! I'd get him, but we're not really in a position for getting a rooster yet.
