Granny's gone and done it again

This might be a question for @h2oratt ...

Can I put Vaseline or Neosporin on Sammy's stitches? They seem to be bothering him a lot, I think they might be itchy, or drying out? They're ... gooky... and I know I can't wash them. The vet left them pretty bloody and sticky.

Morning all, I called to check on Tom. Sounds like he has had a good morning. So as far as him walking, he can pull himself up from a seated position, turn and sit back down. Lo and behold the woman taking care of him was the same person that talked to SD so I had that Convo right then and there. I told her a lot of things I didn't like including her talking about me when SD called to talk about her dad. Anyway, pretty sure this wont happen again.
That’s great you got it straighten out. It sounds like his rehab is going well. He should be home soon.

Yes you could put Neosporin on them. I use vetericyn spray for any wound. What do you put on the chickens wounds?

They do itch as they heal.

thank you. Should I try tomorrow or wait for Monday you think?
Monday when the 'suits' are in their offices.

I spent the day baking cookies. Sugar to be exact. First batch did not turn out worth eating. DH likes them but I don't particularly. I'm still getting used to the stove. The kitchen stove we had bit the dust so we swapped it out with the stove we had in our second house in IL. It has a better oven that cooks hotter than the old stove did.

375 degrees? Nope, better be 350. And cook them for 8 minutes? If you use 375 they are going to be rocks, more like 6 minutes unless you kick the temp back to 350 then 8-9 minutes is fine. The temps and times for the oatmeal raisin/choco chip cookies that I made yesterday, aren't the same that I used today on the sugar cookies.....made my brains hurt

I've just got chocolate chip cookies to make and maybe some chocolate krinkles or springerlies. Can't decide which for the last. Depends on how tired I am when I get the Tollhouse cookies done.
