Spread a layer of tar on the tank, then lay some mesh down and put a layer of tar on top, smooth it out and let it cure for three days. You can do that on the outside and inside. If you want to add cement anyway that’s fine. What I don’t know is if the tar on the outside will dry out too quickly to make it worthwhile.
I already bought one NOT buying another. The old one should be be fixable just not during the winter.Just break down and buy a new one. Cement ain't much good either. Can you get the poly whatever its called so you don't need to worry about cracking?
