Granny's gone and done it again

I finally went to the doc this morning. My entire neck is sore. No sore throat but did test positive for STREP. Waiting on results of a chest X-Ray. I just have no wind in my sails. Sleeping a lot. Tired like never before. I've had a light lunch and am going back to bed now.
Sorry to hear, my friend. At least you know what the problem is. Feel better soon and take care of yourself - don't try to get back in the swing of things too soon! :hugs

At least strep can be treated. Did you get out on a good antibiotic?

Dr told me to go on a soft diet today. Not sure that's what she called it but stuff like apple sauce and mashed potatoes. Nothing acidic like tomato
Eat yogurt to help keep the good bacteria in your stomach. Antibiotic kill the bacteria and can give you a yeast infection and upset stomach.

He will probably be on zithromax, waiting for the doc to get the blood test results to determine which antibiotic will be most effective. He's sleeping now and I'm headed out to do chicken chores.

I have 2 Pekin chickens and 2 Japanese bantams. They are currently living in 2 of my dog traveling boxes. I think it is time I get them a proper coop. But I don't like any of the coop I see at all, the one that I like is too expensive so I am going to have to decide to buy the coop that I least not love. :)

I would rather build it myself, but I lack the skills and I have too many things on so I don't want to add on my plate.

My Pekin and Japanese bantam chickens are so cute, I can hold each of them in my palm.

I used to raise silkies. Small little bantam. I tried a couple of different types, but loved the silkies. :)
My husband built my coops. He lived working with wood and building things.
