We had a two hour window to get meds out. Say from 4-6pm. I once had a lady who demanded her pills exactly at 5 pm. Didn't matter what you were dealing with, CPR or other emergency, you HAD to hand her her pills at 5pm or she threatened to call the state on you.

You can do it!
SD, dried fruits contain natural sugars. Yes, they're somewhat concentrated, so "moderation in all things." But compare a half cup of dried fruit to the super-concentrated sugars in soda, candy, cookies, cake, pie, ice cream! You're WAY better off eating the trail mix I describbed rather than any of that junk food. One soda contains about third to half of a cup of pure sugar. Would you sit down and EAT that much sugar in a single sitting? I hope not! But you're DRINKING it several times a day, never mind all the caffeine (which you know is toxic to you) and all the other toxins in soda.

Look up the Mediterranean Diet and see if it is something you might be interested in sticking with. I've read where Diabetics on it have brought their A1Cs and glucose readings down with it.
