When I got a gastric emptying test don't, they gave me an egg sandwich with a small amount of radioactive material. They gave a fork but I always eat my sandwiches with my fingers. The nurse came running... Don't touch it, don't touch it! I was confused because I thought I was supposed to eat it but can't touch it??
She said stomach acid changes it.
The radioactive material allowed then to see the transit time of my food

Also your white blood cells naturally have hypochlorous acid in them. Interesting. Wish I'd understand biology and chemistry

I agree! When my brother was taking the test so he could use pesticides, he learned pesticides on your skin are more dangerous then in your stomach.
On your skin it goes through your pores directly into your blood stream. If you ingest it, it changes when it mixes with your stomach acid.
He was learning to cover his skin, not spray on windy days and don't use your hands to mix the spray!

I used to use so much of that. A weed wouldn't of dared to come up in my yard.
