Granny's gone and done it again

It's just windy here. Down right windy. Everything you do outside, you have to do one handed because the other hand is busy holding your hat on.

That's how it was yesterday. The guys on the roof were holding on..for dear life.

Afternoon chores are finished. Need to close up on pet coop when they go inside at dark. Just one old hen and one old rooster that keep each other company on the roost at night. Both blind in one eye. Once in a while the old hen lays an egg but we reminder her that it isn't necessary.

I found 5 blue green eggs today. 4 from the Legbar girls and 1 from an Easter Egger x RIR pullet. Got one from my pair of American Bresse girls that we hatched. They are the last two. I hope to get 18 new pullets this spring. 6 BCM's, 6 Buff Brahmas and 6 Easter Eggers.

Ugg, so tired. I feel like Im in a dream. I changed Toms release date to Wednesday. Tom was ok with it after I told him about the weather coming in. His bedsore looked a little infected to me.

Glad you got that date changed Granny. Who ever told you $300 a day extra for a delay because of dangerous weather should me court marshaled.

that was the social worker. The one I said doesn't like me. I contacted a director today.
