Granny's gone and done it again

That's terrible! Is she okay now?
She is okay. She is a handful. I think she had been a very misunderstood child because people expect her to be like a child with downs but actually she had transition and impulse problems like an autistic child. In the one room school they were punishing her too much, when they should have been taking her hand and helping her. She also gets over stimulated easily. Her teachers were not willing to believe that 'spare the rod, spoil the child' does not work for all children. They kept telling my sister she's not training her right. I think I was my sister's main empathizer. My niece visits with me on the phone every Sunday. I understand just enough to keep the conversation going

Wow. That is devastating. I'm so sorry! :hugs Happy she has you!

I cannot remember the size. It was a strange time in my life. In and out of hospitals for two years, 7 or 8 blood transfusions because I would get at the point of death from anemia, and all the same tests over and over again. Finally someone sent me to OHSU, the best medical center on the west coast if you ask me!! They ran all the same tests, and it took a week or so, but they did find it. I was ready to give up. There is an inspirational story behind that, but I'm not sure this is the place to share it. Suffice it to say, I was thankful and I was sure I was healed. Now I'm testing that out and I quit taking chemo therapy. I believe it's behind me. 🙏

Oh, and that two years was spent in 3 different hospitals and several clinics!!!
Wow what a story.thank you for sharing.

I once designed a T-Shirt that said "Equiholics Unanimous." It means "all us horse lovers!" Is you one too?

Do you ride in the morning? Before breakfast?

Do you lie about how much you ride?

Has anyone ever told you you ride too much?

Have you ever missed a date or important function because you were riding?

Do you have more pictures of your horse than of your kids or family?

Have you ever been stepped on, kicked, bitten by or thrown off a horse? Did you blame yourself instead of the horse?

Have you ever cried over a horse?

If you answered yes to any three of the above questions, it's official, You're one of us. You're an Equiholic! There is no cure, but group therapy is highly recommended! Ride with a friend!
❤️🐴❤️
Guess I am a caninholic

Well I did not find the rooster logo I was looking for, but I learned something!

According to Wales Online, Will Kellogg and Welsh harpist Nansi Richards crossed paths while she was on tour Stateside, and she suggested using the rooster — as it turns out, the word for rooster in Welsh, "ceilog," sounded just like Kellogg. Rumor has it that the bright green and red colors assigned to the creature were also actually an homage to the Welsh flag.
