Cleaned ashes out of wood stove and started a fresh fire. ..
GC is starting a crock pot of chili...
We took my car in to Plaza Tire for oil change and regular maintenance, will go back and get it later after its spa treatment is complete.

What kind of heat do you have? My oil is expensive but so far my electric has always been under$100

Made the hour and half trip to the oral surgeon for DH 2 bothersome teeth. He doesn't want to pull them either. He says if they don't heal, it can go unhealed the rest of your life. DH gave me the right to make his decisions. I would hate to be responsible for him to suffer the rest of his life with a necrotizing gum and jaw.
So I actually found an endodontist that will see him for root canal tomorrow..... Except the original dentist isn't answering my phone and I need the referral for the one tooth emailed to me today.
The dentist changed hands and they keep sending a referral for a root canal on the wrong tooth. I have one good referral for the other tooth so hopefully they will evaluate both teeth.

I am seriously rethinking reclast infusions which is the reason no dentist wants to do extractions. Only get bisphosphate infusions of you are sure you have good teeth!!! The rheumatologist will tell you the infusions are safe... But they sure aren't the ones that take care of your teeth and you are stuck if the dentists don't want the liability

I'm sharing the following from the Prayer Warriors thread. For those that don't know, Miss Lydia is one of our duck experts. She's been very much missed since Hurricane Helene. Here are some updates on her situation that came today.

Hey everybody, please pray right now. Pray pray pray for Miss Lydia and her family and her ducks geese and other animals to all be safe safe right now they live in Western North Carolina in the mountains where the mudslides killed and destroyed all around them and right now there are wildfires there and evacuations being ordered, and the roads are not even good yet she still doesn’t have Internet since the hurricane Helene so they didn’t even know right away. Please pray that they will be safe and able to evacuate everyone if they have to.

Some good news there is rain coming tonight and the fire fighters have it 55% contained thank you Jesus! Miss Lydia has not had to evacuate, but she has crates ready for her animals in case. Some of the other evacuation orders have been lifted too, and nobody has been hurt. There are two other fires also burning that are not contained, but the firefighters think they will be able to control them with the rain helping and the wind calming down. Thank you father God.
