Don't think that is our brand. Something that starts with a S I think. I look on the tag if I can remember it from one room to the next.

serta or sealy ? That's the only 2 that comes to mind. I guess in the grander scheme of things its not a big deal. LOL

Queen or King? I see a lot for less than a 100.

Well I did a thing. But not completely yet, I haven't quite pulled the trigger yet. I went to Cackle Hatchery and put 15 chicks in my basket. I just didn't click the Buy button yet but I'll probably do that tomorrow.

The thing is ... the chicks I want won't hatch until June! So I think I'd better go for it. I want 7 each of Dominique pullets and black Ameraucana pullets, and one black Ameraucana cockerel. Fifteen is the minimum order without having to pay a small order fee.

I've wanted pb Ameraucanas forever, just was never willing to shell out the high $$$ for them. Finally decided... I'm not getting any younger, my chickening days can't last forever, I actually CAN afford them, and if not now, when? So ....

My sweet Rojo is 3 years old and I seldom find a fertilized egg. I have not been able to clear up his bumblefoot. His days are numbered, too. So it's time to think about his replacement, sad though that is.

Well it's 3:30 in the morning and I haven't slept yet. Took some melatonin,,,again. It's 28° and clear so it may still get down to 25°. It feels like 20° outside they say. I'd say it would feel more like 2 below if I had to go out in it right now.

Going back to bed before the sun comes up. Still not sleepy..
