Granny's gone and done it again

While digging through some lumber out by the shop I found a blue egg. Not sure how long it has been out there so I will use it like a plastic egg trying to get pullets to stop laying on the ground and in the new nest box that is currently on the ground.

Yikes! Maybe you need a generator for that!

We have one but it is not the best option as the generator has to be out in the yard because of the deadly exhaust if creates if it were to leak into the house somehow. She has a large bottle of Oxygen that is easy to change to. She could probably get along OK with out it while sleeping because she is not using a lot. Her Oxygen feeds into her CPAP.

And we just lost power for a few minutes but it came back on quickly.

We are surrounded by roads that have tall pine trees growing close enough to them that frequently during storms they fall so they not only take out the power lines they close the roads too.

This PC wants me to close everything down and restart it so it will update. Bummer.

Our house is in a clearing so no worries there, but the road to the highway is tree-lined so occasionally we are stuck in until someone comes to get us (DH) and/or the county comes to cut out a fallen tree. Does not happen often, but sometimes.

Well the computer update went well.

I really need a nap now. I'm home alone and left to supervising myself and that is dangerous. I've got a can of refried beans with green chiles and a can of Rotel tomatoes with green chiles out and have some American cheese to had to them for a cheesy bean dip for to roundish nacho chips. I'll not gamble with using the stove while ma is gone.
