Went out to breakfast with an old friend. It was great to catch up. The restaurant was so noisy and we both wear hearing aids. It was hard to hear.

I've found that hearing the chef in the kitchen can be easier to understand that someone sitting at my table. Hearing aids often don't really aid in understanding but they just make the noise louder.
