howdy all, PT and nurse has come and gone. PT is new to us. He seemed to know what he is doing and did a good job. He is here for the long haul he said and not sure how many days a week it will be. Nurse said Toms wound is smaller than last week!

Yes, torn meniscus. It's soft tissue that pads between the where the thigh bone meets the shin bones. It's not cartilege (ugh, no matter how I spell that it looks wrong!). That's what the shot was for, to provide reluef for that.

She did some physical tests to check on the possibly torn ACL. I'll post a pic. She did not say whether it is torn or not. She did say that if I'm not doing certain things with it, basically like playing competitive sports, it probably does not matter. I think I'm old enough to retire gracefully from the soccer, basketball, gymnastics and figure skating, but I'll have to think long and hard about the kick-boxing. She wrote me a Rx for PT. That should help.

Robert has a meat loaf in the oven. 2 eggs and a block cubed of cheese with some catsup on the top. I have seasoned green beans and mashed taters on the stove.
