Granny is on the Ohio River. Sometimes I hear the meteorologist talk about weather going up the Ohio River Valley. Now I know that's up Granny's neck of the woods.

Oh I have good news! Ryder, GC's now 8-month old Aussie pup, is apparently chicken proof and we've been letting the chickens free-range the last couple of days with no problems.

Of course we are still keeping a close watch on him, but we think he's going to be okay with them.

I hope to take some of my flocks pictures today. I head over heels in love with my Legbar and Sapphire girls. 2 of the 5 Sapphire girls are really special the way the fly up and perch on the steering wheel of the little John Deere and eat treats out of my hands. The Legbars will all gather around my feet and beg then go crazy as I drop small pieces of fresh bread for them.
