Granny's gone and done it again

I remember the Maverick cars.
The Maverick replaced the Falcon in 1970 and continued on until it was replaced by the Fairmont in 78. I remember the Granada started in 75 as another fuel economy car. I don't remember them being too popular. I bought a new 78 Fairmont Futura. It was only $5500.00. You get more than that back on rebate anymore.

It was actually my PCP that did the test for Lupus. The other .. neuro..saw the the other things.
Hey..are you dizzy at all? Feel like you're swaying back and forth on bad days? This is what I now one of my biggy things I deal with. One of my many diagnoses. I'm hearing a lot of the symptoms in you. Look up Vestibular Migraines. I call them silent migrains, but man this delivers a whopping amount of other symptoms. Look it up.
It's interesting how an illness like your infection could trigger another. Stress! You have a lot going on, so you stress. Does not do a body good!
Yes, I call it rocking. I do not spin like normal vertigo but more of a slow rocking, swaying is a good description.

My GP put me on verapamil back in December thinking my severe seizure like episodes could be vascular in nature. That med has helped tremendously.

Verapamil is a calcium channel blocker and good for vestibular migraines also so you are not far off from some of my symptoms. Have you tried it? It can lower your BP but it doesn’t seem to bother mine already lower BP, even at my higher dose.

I've been trying to have some quality fun time with DH. Dr says part of healing is to keep the morale up. My 2004 jeep have up the ghost so yesterday we went car shopping. I chose a ford maverick because it has an SUV base but it a pickup truck. It's low so I don't need to see him struggle to get in and out. It's a hybrid so it charges it's battery while driving but also uses gas.
It will be my car but I left DH do the test driving and negotiating and he was in his glory. It took us from 12:00-6:00 and we were weary. But DH is very excited. It has a smooth ride like an SUV, heated seats, heated steering wheel. I would say buying a new car is a man's delight. They had different colors and DH picked a velocity blue ride.
Plus they have him a good special deal. They must have known they were brightening up my man's day
very sweet story. Thanks for sharing it and congrats. on the new wheels!
so your saying what Robert told you is true ?? :D
Must be Twist. I cant think of another reason . :duc

All of that from a tick bhawk. That's awful. :hugs
Seems like almost everyone here is struggling with their health one way or another. :(
We also got some bad news today concerning Tom. His kidney level has not improved as the Dr. thought it would. It has dropped even more.

Howdy y'all. Actually trying to type this with two hands. Just finished my PT exercises and have my brace off for a bit so I can give my skin a break. I've developed a bit of skin breakdown on my right elbow so I'm so glad I've only got 3 days and a few ours left with it. I was at PT today and they gave me a tegaderm to put on it instead of the heavy gauze pad I have taped to it.

They were amazed at how well I was doing and how much range of motion I've got at this stage of healing. Said it really shows how diligent I have been with my exercises. I came home with two new exercises to do along with the two I already have on deck. I don't have to go back till next Tuesday and they said I'm probably looking at 4-6 weeks of PT although I may get cut loose sooner if I'm doing as well as I am now.

I can live with that.
