Our new pickups check engine light came on. The engine coolant temperature sensor needs to be replaced. So are driving a loaner for now
It's a hybrid and sure saves us on fuel with all these miles we are putting on

78 degrees! It's 101 here. They say it'll be 98 tomorrow and Saturday but then be 100 to 102 every day for a week. Summertime summertime sum sum summertime

I think our highest temp this year was 98 but the next few days are supposed to be in the 70s and then into the 80s with the highest forecast being 88. We have had a weird summer this year. Lots of high humidity. Really miserable stuff where the temp was like 91 and the humidity was 88%. We've also had an unusually wet summer so far but the next week or so is supposed to be drier so hopefully the last of our high humidity for awhile.

Mammogram done for another year. Results ... good! Washed car and vacuumed it. LOTS of dog hair. Dog hair does not want to let go of carpet. I wore myself out fighting with it. Came home and crashed. I forget I'm in terrible shape from five months of doing nothing!

Dog hair hates shedding brushes. You know the type with the flat base and wire bristles? I brush the dog hair out of my throw rugs with one of those. It gets every bit out and then you just clean out the bristles and it's good to go again. I've also used it on the car carpet.

I never heard of that kind of surgery before. All I knew of was putting stents in. Our Drs/surgeons can do amazing things.

About the smokes, every time DH goes to a Dr they ask a whole bunch of questions about smoking. It would save us time if he had never smoked. LoL!!

Sooooooo a bit over three hours, eh? That really isn't bad, Granny. My shoulder surgery was between 3 and 4 hours. DH's Gall Bladder surgery about the same. I bet it's been a long day. Sometimes I think the preliminary preps for surgery are more exhausting than the surgery itself.

thank you Pert. and yes, that's how long the Dr. asked for the room for me. They cross matched me today for transfusions, blood work and urinary infection. Looked down my throat and told me I would have the machine that breathes for me.

No. It was just a very short time as a teenager. But they still ask a row of questions every time he's at the Dr
