Catnip is actually a medicinal herb believe it or not. Can't remember what it does without looking it up but it is safe for human consumption. How would you know if this is safe to eat?
Also, Umm... What kind of coffee pot is that?

I switch Brew between Dog Chow flavors cold turkey BUT! He never has any issues. It can take up to 12 weeks for some dogs to fully adjust to new foods. Probably less within the same brand but still. Some dogs you have to go VERY slow. Also any people food or treats could cause it too. Also lately I’ve been sticking to just Beef the last few bags and haven’t switched him to Lamb for a while. LOL he doesn’t really like Chicken although I did buy the 4.4 bag a couple weeks ago when I didn’t buy the big Beef bag in time and ran out of food LOLyes, dog chow. Well, I think they get tired of eating the same thing all the time
I'm sorry Cynthia, Im not there to see but I can imagine how traumatic this is for the both of you. I hope you can feel our arms and heart reaching out to both of you.![]()

Oh wow that’s scary!!!!!!!!!!! Brew is 4 1/2 years old now so I guess he’s safe now?????????????Yes it is awful and like I said, it wasn't even all that prevalent in Missouri. I looked it up at the time and there were under 10 reported incidents in the state. They say that after the age of 3 or 4 dogs are immune to the parasite so that is a plus but we look at standing water even our ponds differently now.
I am so sorry. Rest in peace, BellaWell, today. Not good. Prayers. She's throwing up now. Blood. She's still passing so much blood. Her eyes.![]()
We found a vet open today that will put her down
I'm not putting her through this anymore longer.
Prayers. My sweet Bella.![]()
Yep, should be. But look up incidents of Pythiosis in dogs in Massachusetts. Probably unlikely so far north but we were supposedly too far north also. There are no absolutes I guess.Oh wow that’s scary!!!!!!!!!!! Brew is 4 1/2 years old now so I guess he’s safe now?????????????
This morning I decided to have coffee and tea.
The tea is a catnip flower head, if it tastes as good as it smells I’ll be drying more for later on.View attachment 4198267View attachment 4198266is it sedating?
It is. I make a tincture out of it. It helps calm your nervous system.Catnip is actually a medicinal herb believe it or not. Can't remember what it does without looking it up but it is safe for human consumption.
The best purina is purina pro pl@n. You get it on chewy.comI switch Brew between Dog Chow flavors cold turkey BUT! He never has any issues. LOL he doesn’t really like Chicken although I did buy the 4.4 bag a couple weeks ago when I didn’t buy the big Beef bag in time and ran out of food LOLbut besides that, he’s been on exclusively Beef lately. But he loves Beef and Lamb best. I’ve also tried Little Bites (Chicken and Beef) briefly and Tender & Crunchy (Turkey and Lamb). He loved both of those. I have not tried the High Protein. I also fed the Purina One for a while but it got really expensive.
