Granny's gone and done it again

The petals hang heavy, like my weary soul
🌼

Outliving my loves has taken its toll
💔

The silence is louder, the nights grow long
🌙

Without your voices, I don’t feel strong
🌌

The flower bends low, its tears in the rain
🌿

Carrying sorrow, carrying pain
🕊

For nothing is lonelier than walking alone
🍂

In a world where your laughter has long been gone
🔥

Time keeps me breathing, yet steals all I knew
💭

A life half-empty, still longing for you
🌊

I whisper your names to the quiet sky
🌸

But the only reply is the wind’s soft sigh
🌟

Outliving you all is the cruelest test
🌈

For love doesn’t fade, it only rests
🌹

There is nothing as lonely as what I see
💧

Surviving the ones who meant life to me
❤️

— The Love I Lost

That part..so true. 4 years now.

I honestly can't remember any of my dogs drinking out of the toilet. Not even the big ones. But, I did make sure I closed the lid when I had cleaner soaking in it. Even when I only had littles. Just in case. 😁
