I’m scared to meet with her LOL I was also bad today.

Haven't we told you not to fear these people. They are there to help you even if you are having a 'weak' day, they will lift you up. They won't condemn you any more than we will. We all have 'bad' days and there are a lot of definitions of 'bad'. As you age you experience them all so buck up, take a deep breath and remind yourself that the 'she' you are meeting with has had 'bad' days also.

My husband had prostate cancer along with the Alzheimer’s. He never had a problem with obstruction. Tom has this?
My son with Spina Bifida has had the Foley at times. For when he was going to be bedridden for quite a while after surgery. Tom is pretty much bed ridden...chair/sitting. Would be good for her to know if the Foley is for obstruction or bedridden. I'm sure she knows.

My dad periodically had an indwelling catheter for BPH obstruction. In my experience, any time a male has an indwelling catheter any length of time or even permanently, it's from BPH obstruction or yes from cancer. I had a male patient with a continuous catheter that I had to change monthly. Sometimes, to put it bluntly, it's the only way they can pee.

I've never seen one used for incontinence. That is just plain dangerous. They make too many good sanitary products for that now and to use one for that is just inviting infection and or urinary tract sepsis which can kill a person real fast if not treated fast enough. I have to honestly say I've never heard of a catheter used for incontinence.

Yes but I was worried she would send me. But I should have known she wouldn’t because no one else has yet and they all talk soooo… LOL and that is true but I meant I behaved badly/messed up BUT! I’m sure she has too LOL I had more Mtn Dew than planned today BUT! Not too much more and yesterday I stuck to my goal sooooo…

I forgot I already admitted to buying the two additional ones but yeah.

The snack bar was open and somebody else was getting one and they just restocked yesterday so I was like oooooooohhhhhhhhh

But I didn’t buy anything else. Nothing bad. I have a 30% off coupon off one full price item from CVS expiring the 8th (Wednesday) BUT! I will use it for GOOD and NECESSARY things only LOL like possibly paper towels or dish soap or something. NO candy. NO Mtn Dew. NO other bad stuff. Etc. LOL

No sleep is catching up w/ me. We are home. Still don't know much. Toms DD will be here in a few. Nothing is going to happen around here til Mon. when I expect all hell to break loose. Primary Dr. has already called to make a follow up appt. I missed that call. They sent him home on antibiotics but he wont get those til Mon. as well. Insulin stays the same. He is sawing logs right now.
