I had a good day. I made some spicy apple butter, not hot pepper spicy but rather ginger spicy.
I boiled it just enough to get the raw flavor out of it and to infuse the spices. I’m letting it sit overnight and tomorrow I’ll can it.

I've never tried apple butter and recently tried ginger on some chicken. Not bad.

Apparently not, since he's already doing so. He preaches by invitation. They had classes on it at his school and they let them practice at various churches as part of their class work. These kids know our church doctrines pretty much inside out and backwards. I mean, he's not ordained so he can't baptize or marry anybody. I've preached a time or two myself.
