Okay, was out shoveling the newest snow (about 2 more inches on top of the 8 down to 7) and started humming to myself. Before I knew it I had created my own ode to winter in Missouri....sung to Silver Bells.

"Spread some salt
Scrape some ice
It's Winter time in Missouri
Oh heck no!
We got more snow!
How soon till it's spring again?"

And it's not even winter yet for another 21 days!

I think we got a light dusting of snow, down here in the "tropical" portion of the state, MC. Nothing worth singing about anyway.

Don't encourage her! Her birthday is Jan. 25 but she likes to have a birthday every month! How many candles? Probably about 250 by now. Just set the darn cake on fire!

Sigh, had another possum in the hen house tonight. I shot him but he survived long enough to crawl under the hen house! I can't understand how that was even possible! I feel terrible about it! Not only bc I never want a critter to suffer, but also bc I can't get under there to get it out and it's gonna stink!
