Normal is subjective. Normal compared to what? Nobody is 100% normal. We all have our medical flaws that have us taking medicine that none of us want to take. Nobody is 100% emotionally or mentally. We were told in nurses training that every one on earth has at least 3 neurosis. People just learn to deal with them and live their lives in spite of them.
There was only one 100% healthy and perfect person who ever walked on this earth and his name was Jesus The rest of us have to do the best we can to muddle through....![]()
I'm so glad you decided to take them. I hope they help you. I can't say that I know your pain. I've only had short episodes in my lifetime of this pain. It was scary enough. Now I have a daughter that is worrying me. She's let us know how hard it is to understand, even for herself. Thankfully she knows when it's best to go get help. Love you sweet girl. Always in my prayers.
Hmm. That wasn't aimed at me but it's a thought. I have leg cramps sometimes. Maybe that will help. We have GatorAde powder, I'll mix me up a batch. Good thought, thanks.
What a good idea!
The thing is, Kiddo, you ARE "normal." Your normal is that you have to take these meds. Another person's normal might be that they have to take insulin. My normal is that I have to take, um... about 8 different Rx every day, lol. This is what's "normal" for ME. And as long as I do this I can live a relatively pain-free, balanced life. It's a small price to pay and I can't tell you how GLAD I am that these Rx are available to me!
Thank you so much guys!!!!!!!Nothing tastes good to me. I've lost 8 lbs and could stand on losing 100
I was going to ask, What is the definition of normal? Compared to who?
They are all black, Granny. There are a whole bunch of pullets all jammed together in that cluster, you can't hardly tell them apart. There's at least 7, maybe 8 in that batch. They are jammed in there so tight I don't see how they can breathe, lol.I have always loved the choc owlic. hens. On your black hen, 2nd shelf hight What is that under her or part of her??
I'm getting sleepy, not gonna last much longer
Ditto..wondered the same thing. What's that chicken holding onto?!I have always loved the choc owlic. hens. On your black hen, 2nd shelf hight What is that under her or part of her??

Aww, they look so happy and healthy.Clipped the wings of some birds this evening. Merida, the SS, is the ringleader, always jumps the fence in the morning before I'm ready to let them out, and has taught about three of the Aussies to join her. So we clipped her and all the Aussies. Also had a lavender EE with a crusty bum, too cold to bathe her but she got a fluffy bum trim, hopefully that will help. Downy feathers everywhere, it was like a snowstorm, lol! Here is Shadow with about 7 of his groupies beside and under him. There are at least 2 in the poop tray under him. Poor Walker sits elsewhere all by his lonesome. Understand that these ladies of Shadow's have plenty of room to roost anywhere they want to! That's Shadow on top, looking down at his harem.

Thank you!Aww, they look so happy and healthy.
Yeah, saw the NP. Another batch of antibiotics, and more steroids. I think i am sweating out some of the toxins from when bacteria cells burst. Hopefully I will kick it soon.Granny, please try to eat and drink. If you are dealing with a UTI you sure don't want wind up septic from it, Chicken noodle soup and tea if nothing else. The soup will help your sodium levels also.
@CapricornFarm did you ever get in to see your doc?
That fries my bacon about the 5 year look back. People who need it play merry heck jumping through hoops to get it while others just walk in the door who are able to work and choose not to get everything handed to them. I went through that with my dad when he went into the nursing home. First thing out of their mouths was 'does he have a life insurance policy'? That is the first thing they sink their claws into.
Going to bed guys. Everyone feel better.
