Went to Walmart, they got rid of most of the fabric, and they didn't have a single spool of 100% cotton thread. Plus they rearranged the place, so you have to search for stuff. At least a live person was there to check me out.

Morning all. 34 degrees here.
DH is at dermatologist getting a PTD treatment. I call it the blue light special. They apply a chemotherapy cream to his skin, make him set for an hour or more while it cooks, then set him under a blue (or red, then it's a red light special) for about 10 minutes then send him on his way. His skin looks fried afterwards. Two trains of thought on the procedure is that it can either prevent eruptions of squamous cell skin cancers or it can cause the ones already formed to surface so they can excise them. Either way, he's in for a rough three days until the inflammation subsides.

In the mean time I'm puppy sitting and trying to tidy up the house while she is napping. Said yesterday that having a rambunctious pup thundering around is like being grandparents who's 2 year old grandchild has come for a weekend visit...and NEVER goes home. DH said yeah, and we can't even have the fun of teaching them bad habits, spoiling them and hyping them up on sugar before we send them home to mom and dad to deal with.

I see the doc on Wednesday about my back. Still bothering me. Today isn't a bad day but I know if will rise up and bite me on the butt if I don't set down and rest it on occasion.

Looks like winter has returned to our area. highs in the 50's low's in the 30's for the next 10 days. At least there is no snow or ice to deal with. And I know it wont last long, we start planting early spring crops in about a month.

Got cortisone shots in both knees again today. Am not quite bone on bone on right knee. But with the shots I hope to be able to walk more.
