Robert got about half of his toe nail removed today. I've seen that done before and it looks very painful. It was still numb when he got home.

Sounds like thrush to me. Caused by all the antibiotics you have taken. The doctor can give you a prescription for something to take for it. Until thin swish then spit out Maalox, weird I know but it helps. If you liked yogurt I'd tell you to eat some but I know you don't.

I still have 2 days of antibiotics left.

lots of pain here so same ol day. I made a packet of oatmeal and a piece of toast . Only got about 1/4th of that down but better than none!

Granny, you need to go to an urgent care or an ER. Seriously. You are torturing yourself having this go on without treatment. As stubborn as I am I've been to the doctor twice in two weeks due to my back and pinched nerve. Decided the only persons I was hurting by not going was my husband and myself. Not fair to either one of us but especially not to the one who loves me more than anything else in the world who is watching me suffer.

We care about you and try to help you but you really don't want to take any of our advice so we all feel completely helpless.

Please, for Robert and for yourself.....and yes, for us. Get some medical care ASAP.
